ET for AUTOMOTIVE Production
Automated Crack Detection Eddy Current Systems
Systems for fully automated crack detection on surface of rotary parts. ET can be used as substitution of magnetic particle testing. Typical users of automated ET systems in automotive are casting, forging or machining companies whose scope of work defined by end customer includes ET testing. Typical components tested by ET are different rotary parts as ball stubs, wheel hubs, axle flange, bearing rings and rollers and similar. Typical for automotive industry is requirement on higher grade of automation.
Key features of automated ET systems:
- High-speed in-line inspection
- Data acquisition and post-processing software
- Single or multichannel eddy current system
- C-scan image possible
- Systems are adapted to the customer's requirements
